This just in the email from our pals at Colibri Ridge Winery

“We have now released our 2007 Estate Syrah Rose and our 2005 Fair Play Merlot Our Syrah Rose is in the European tradition being totally dry and full of wonderful fruit aromas and flavors.  It has the light aromas of watermelon and strawberry. On the pallet you will find the flavors of fresh raspberries and cherries.  This is a wonderful wine that pairs well with most lighter meals.   This vintage of our award winning Merlots continues in the tradition of providing you with big full flavored Merlots.  Again you will find the flavor of plumbs and vanilla in this wine, with a wonderful lingering finish.  This wine will pair well with most heaver meals including pasta.

Syrah’s got’ a go sale.  Just in time for the holidays our award winning 2003 El Dorado Syrah is on sale for 50% off.  Yes, that’s only $9.50 a bottle and $114.00 a case.  Hurry in as this wine will not last long at this price.”  So how about at stay at the Albert Shafsky House to go with a trip to get a case or two of wine?
